Prediction markets are a form of gambling. We build tools that help you stay in control, and we take seriously our obligations under Kenyan law and BCLB guidelines.
Deposit & loss limits
- Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits in your Wallet settings.
- Limit increases take effect after a 24-hour cooling-off period. Decreases are immediate.
- You can set session time reminders — the platform will nudge you every 30 or 60 minutes of active trading.
Self-exclusion
You may self-exclude for 24 hours, 30 days, 6 months, or permanently. During self-exclusion your account is frozen — no trading, deposits, or account changes — and any wallet balance is returned to your M-Pesa number within 24 hours. Self-exclusion requests are irreversible for the selected period.
Protection of minors
Betluku is strictly 18+. Every account is verified against a valid Kenyan ID or passport, and payments are only accepted from M-Pesa numbers registered in the account holder's name. Report suspected underage accounts to compliance@betluku.co.ke.
